Overview
Direct_DF is a utility to compute the dielectric function of a single free-standing thick layer (like transparent substrates such as glass plates or KBr discs) from its reflectance and transmittance spectra. The layer thickness must be known.
After a short introduction the operation of the software is demonstrated in a step-by-step example.
